Greetings! We are excited for another year of seeds, gardens, flowers, and food. 2024 gave us much perspective and experience that we are grateful for. We took the opportunity to take a road trip to see the Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. This is one of the most amazing celestial events that we get to experience and always a reminder of how amazing this world is. Definitely the biggest surprise of the whole journey was the spectacular wild flowers of Texas. Hundreds of miles of Highways were lined with amazing diversity and color. A true treasure of this country are these amazing “wild gardens”, and a reminder of how precious and fragile life is.
We came back charged up by the raw beauty of the landscapes, flowers, rivers, trees, and rocks, ready for the growing season and stoked to continue growing seeds and plant breeding. This is how we make a better world, a feat that many generations before us have also worked on as well. This preservation and continuation of bio-diversity is the essence of what makes this earth an amazing place to experience, even as it constantly changes and evolves.
The seeds were bountiful this year. We had one the driest October’s in many years and with that came what felt like, a never-ending supply of seeds to harvest, dry and clean, which we are grateful for. And then, on 10/27 we were blessed by the arrival of our second daughter, (Baby Azara who decided to come 3 and a half weeks early!). Born at home, healthy and happy, we are over-joyed by the newest Peace Seedling!!
The newest generation has reminded us of the value of having land to cultivate. We have been lucky to be able to cultivate land that we don’t own for the last two generations and over thirty years, and we have now realized we need to secure this land for the next generation. Thanks for supporting our seed company and helping achieve this goal. We are grateful for any support or donations to help actulize this dream.
Much thanks and Big Big Love, Dylana and Mario
We grow everything organikally, the K is for know your farmer and know your source. All seeds are not chemically treated, non GMO, no use of any pesticides or herbicides or ground plastic and grown using minimal organic fertilizer. All varieties are bred and selected by us, open-pollinated and public domain, some very new, and others very old, trusted selected heirlooms. Squash and zucchini are hand pollinated to insure true cultivars. In our continuing work of preserving heirlooms at the same time as breeding new varieties, occasional crossing happens (less then 1%). So, occasional rogue plants can happen in a seed batch. We strive to preserve the lines we offer but evolution is always in process. Thanks for gardening and being part of this process.
Throughout the seedlist you will see “breeding by Peace Seedlings” which means Dylana Kapuler and Mario DiBenedetto are the original breeders. Varieties noted as “breeding by Peace Seeds” were developed by Alan and Linda Kapuler. All the seeds we offer in this catalog are grown, selected, cleaned and packed by us; Dylana Kapuler and Mario DiBenedetto; Peace Seedlings. All seeds are for public domain use only. Please give credit where credit is due.
THANKS to all of our family, friends, and customers who have supported Peace Seedlings. Big thanks to everyone who helped out in the garden this year: Christian Petrovich, Zephyr Wise-Lee, Sherman, Jess, Alex(Galexc)Curnew, Tyler Simmer, and Robbie and Kate . Also thanks to Brian Yorgey, Dan and Tracy Lamblin, Justin and Lina Soares and Family, Linda and Alan Kapuler, Carol Ach, and Rachel and Elias at Rainshine Farm,
A special Thanks to Hal Brown for continuing your generosity and collaboration of sharing his farm land with us. Thanks for supporting diversity, organic gardening and public domain plant breeding.

Productive South American food plant, called “the apple of the Andes”. A floral sweet crunchy root, harvested Oct-Dec, tubers get sweeter after being cured. When juiced and concentrated it makes amazing syrup.
